I am currently watching this film on New Year's day on ITV.
I am three quarters through the film, and so far, it is good - but not brilliant.
The scene that they had in Cuba, whereby all of Spectre was killed by a DNA weapon, but left Bond alive in the middle of a large gathering they could have left out... what followed immediately afterwards, was to be frank, amateurish and embarrassing to watch... everyone getting popped off, and only the fleeing agents being of good aim.
Thankfully, the film has progressed into an intriguing and interesting watch.
However, I am glad that I did not pay to see this in the Cinema.
I think ( and I only speak for myself when I write this), that when a sense of 'realism' goes too far off the radar for the sake of the storyline and aesthetic shots and good camera angles, then appreciation takes a dive. Believability is the key to a good thriller, and unfortunately, No time to Die lacks this in spades.
