Daddy Martha

An absolute waste of time and money and a boring one at that. The film has a fantastic set up but other than the first quarter of the film it’s just useless. Several themes and plot elements are thrown into the film only to produce a jumbled mess of a dumb movie. The movie struggles to be entertaining and it never really gets there, save your money. 2/10

No doubt a beautiful film, but it’s just way to long. It’s more style than substance but the “substance” it does have is just completely bizarre and confusing. This could have been a ninety minute film but it’s over two hours long. The rest of the film is just filler of random stuff that doesn’t effect it the plot and drawn out scenes that make you want to fast forward the film in the theater.

Deserves all of the love. It’s certainly not for casual audiences and it’s more of an art house film and if you didn’t like Midsommar, Ex Machina, Black Swan, or The Babadook you’ll hate this movie. But to all the people saying it’s awful, it is not it’s just for a very specific audience.
