Just watched this after watching the 2021 live action Mortal Kombat and I honestly wished that this was the live action movie. This is everything a true Mortal Kombat fan wants in a MK film. So faithful to the source material, great fight sequences, serious story tone with perfect amounts of humor, and plenty of blood and gore. I had so much more hype for the live action movie than I did for this. However, where I felt, in my opinion, the live action movie fell short of the hype, this movie surpassed every expectation. I honestly can't recommend this movie enough. If you're a fan of Mortal Kombat then this is a must watch.
