I was drawn in by the polarization of the sitcom side and the drama of the depression that she suffers. The characters that are mostly one dimensional would be Kevin and his sophomoric bros. Even the stylist neighbor the diner owner/old friend and the mechanic have more depth than those guys. I was taken aback a little bit by the interior set living room being All in the Family’s set, from Archie Bunker fame.
I hope the comedy side characters mature fast or this one will be a goner. And too darn many commercial breaks
