Watched this movie again two days after Diane Keaton's death... it's strange how we think these stars we grew up watching would just live on that the news of their death comes as a complete blow...like somehow it cuts the threads to one's past and in retrospect a carefree childhood... I love all these three women...their comedic timing... amazing! Bette Midler is an absolute favourite...her quick witted comebacks, facial expressions. Diane Keaton's goofy clumsiness is just adorable. It's a feel-good movie and it's one of those movies that make me laugh out loud and lightens my heart... Although I just couldn't take my eyes off of Diane Keaton... couldn't stop thinking about her being gone.

I quite enjoyed the movie. The typical rom-com, clichés... I like Lake Bell...and of course, Simon Pegg...like him too. But, like someone else says here, not a great pairing... Otherwise, it was a fun watch.

Read through the reviews before watching...and believed some of the 3-star reviews and thought I'd give this a shot. But the acting is just bad. 10 minutes in... 1) The reaction of the sergeant when the 911 responder tells him a child has been kidnapped, he doesn't even look up...he barely acknowledges her. At one end of the spectrum, we have the likes of Jennifer Love Hewitt at the verge of tears in every 911 call (911 series) and then at the other end we have people like this who seem bored and disinterested. 2) At 0:11:15, they show the mother on call with the sergeant and you wonder if she is the same woman who was hysterically screaming into the 911 call a couple of minutes ago. You don't feel invested in the characters and story when the actors themselves don't believe in it enough to give a good performance. At this point, I've given up trying to justify watching a movie just because a relatively well-known name is attached to it.

There's something off with this movie... It's trying too hard... What's with the staring into the camera? The acting is weird... awkward... Just something totally off... can't describe it... Jim Cummings' overacting...such a mess of a movie!

Incredibly dumb series... I'm about 35 minutes into the first episode, most of which I just forwarded because I couldn't stand the dull characters and the sleep-inducing dialogues. Too many logical fallacies, horrible acting, really bad character development, and poor direction. How is it after all the alien history that makers still base movies on the premise that the characters are unaware of the existence of aliens? And yet, the characters here act completely unaffected...no fear nothing. They don't know about these creatures yet they are unafraid! The Wendy character is a wannabe Winona Ryder's Call. Please don't waste your time watching this poor excuse of a series that hopes to attract viewers based simply on its title "Alien." A cheap jump-scare with no real story or engagement. Random sprinkling of aliens to add shock value! An insult to the predecessors! This series is a joke!

The movie has an excellent cast... However, the movie leaves you with many unanswered questions. 1. What was Clive Owen's character's motivation behind the bank robbery? Why did he plan such an elaborate heist to just access box 392? Did someone ask him to? Was he connected to the victims betrayed by Christopher Plummer's character? A backstory is required here. 2. The other robbers quietly follow along with no protests. They have to be just as focused and driven as Clive Owen's character to not defy him, particularly with so much money up for grabs. Again, a proper motivation/backstory is required here. 2. A huge heist happens at a prominent bank in New York and the police decide to drop the case and bury it because nothing was stolen and no one was harmed? 3. What motivated Christopher Plummer's character to hold on to incriminating evidence for 60 years? If this movie had lesser-known actors, it probably would have disappeared into oblivion.

A real waste of time... Very cliched and easy-to-guess plot. The Ray character talks way too much and is rather annoying. Stopped watching 20 minutes in.

Overall, a powerful documentary. It's amazing really...the level of deceit that Belle Gibson employed and how she fooled so many people. While I found the documentary engaging and interesting, I must say that the cinematography is quite challenging for people with photosensitivity. The constant shift from a neutral and comfortable screen color to stark white when displaying social media messages was quite disturbing, resulting in headaches. I ended up wearing dark glasses to complete watching the documentary (lost my remote, so couldn't adjust screen brightness). Please adjust screen brightness while watching.

I love the series... it's fun, regardless of the constant reminder of the challenges of old age. Allison was a surprising character development, which was good. Frankie started out being an adorable character and a beautiful human. I loved the crazy character she was during the initial stages of the series, where there were moments of sanity and clarity and depth. But Frankie's character development just became dumber and annoying as the show progressed.

Unbearable. Couldn't sit through the terrible acting and story line.
