Declan Wall

If this game wasn't under the 'Mass Effect' name, I'm sure people would have reacted to it in a much more positive way. If you stop comparing it to the ME Trilogy (one of the best ever made imo) then you start seeing a really fun, action based sci-fi party RPG with a lot of interesting characters and development. I initially saw these characters as one dimensional until I actually talked to them and discovered they were much deeper and better written than I assumed. I can understand wishing this game had gone in a different direction, it's no ME2 - but it's thoroughly enjoyable in itself. (I'm also aware it released with a lot of bugs which would have had a lot to do with the early reviews but these have all(?) been patched out since)
