Whoever said L2 is inferior to Lucifer has either not seen the former or has no idea about film making. This by all means is a step up from Lucifer. My respect for Prithviraj as a director has only increased with this version. He has matured into a very fine film maker. The biggest success of the film according to me that they have been able to sustain the mystical aura surrounding Mohanlal’s character till the end. The audience are kept guessing about the character development in each frame. The story has only grown and panned to a larger framework. Just cannot wait enough for L3 to come. Way to go and fingers crossed!!!

Nothing Special. Vijay Sethupathi's tLent was wated. His character could have been more menacing. Vijay is robotic as usual. Movie has lot of plot holes and predictable. Andrea Jeremiah or Malavika were all wasted. Poor and unimaginative direction.

A good story ruined by sloppy durection and bad acting. Vidyut jamwal is so animated in emotional scenes. The fake hindi accent of shiv pandit made me burst out into laughter. It is amusing to see that almost all Nomanese speak Hindi...

Bad acting and moreover loose direction and silly plotline..they have made a joke out of a good south indian movie

With strong acting from Prithviraj, Ranam is a movie of a different kind. The director has done his homework well on the underbelly of detroit underworld. A must watch!
