One of the best and technically correct outer space series, based on current and predicted knowledge, I have ever seen. Only what you could reasonably expect from the next 100 or so years. No warp drives, no beam weapons, no transporters and thank goodness, no artificial gravity. The interpersonal relationships create a tangible drama that keeps the plot line moving rapidly, always aiming at the next event. Very few things in this series are insignificant. If you catch a phrase or see a sequence that is foreboding, chances are it will cause some sort of plot change. So, pay attention. The 3 (4*) major factions are believable and well thought out. *The forth faction are the...<spoiler>...you'll have to watch! I give this an easy 5/5. *****
