This is not My Fair Lady. It is a adaption of the play designed to suit politically correct modern audiences! If you want to see women's suffrage demonstrators, middle-aged male transvestites in tutus and white Jockey shorts, a Dr. Higgins who is an "appropriate" age rather than the older gentleman he was, and an ending where Elisa tells him to go to hell...then this is your play. Good singing, beautiful sets, but not the romantic musical I saw with the original cast on Broadway. I'm sorry I went.
