way to ruin the original. the casting is terrible. the random changes to the original storyline/dialogue to add random cheesy bits. just awful. also it's really obvious that Netflix is running out of money. looks cheaply made - costumes are rubbish. CGI very basic and the quality of the cinematography/lighting etc. just not there.

was very excited to watch this film and the opening was very promising. but the male director managed to make this film more about the men around jaya than jaya herself. too much time was spent on a (purely speculative) intimacy between jaya and mgr and less time on jaya as politician. in fact the film ends with jaya becoming cm and hence misses out on her most significant years as politician (lots of filmworthy material there). I also would be interested to know whether some of the male stars got paid more than kangana? incidentally kanganas acting carried the film, she was brilliant, as always.
