This should have been a great series. But after episode 1, it all went downhill fast. What is with all the back flashes and where is the story? The lead actors are just pathetic. Female lead: too old for the role, her clothes are so saggy and old fashioned, and absolutely no chemistry whatsoever between them. Male lead: stiff, looks like his face is full of botox. He can't seem to run or even throw a punch naturally. Someone should really teach him how to swing his arms on camera, and how to kiss. Since when is just touching your lips together called kissing? And what the heck is with that ending? Most anticipated series and most disappointing.

This is one of the best K-dramas I have ever watched. Usually, with so many actors and actresses, you find one that irritates you. Not a single fault with anyone here. The child actor is beyond amazing. The entire cast was amazing and the story kept me watching right through the night. I enjoyed every second of this and it's seldom that this happens.

Just ridiculous. Don't waste your time.

I enjoyed the series. Love the main lead. Because it was too long, I took off two stars, it could have been done in fifteen episodes and one star for the romance absence. There is just no spark whatsoever between the male and female lead.

Brilliant actors. Very nice storyline. Keeps you in suspense until the very end. Worth watching

OMG, the all so familiar eating and talking while food is spitting out of their mouths...The hairstyles of the women... Good heavens, who was the person that ordered all those fringes????? And the older daughter of the first brother. I have never seen a worse performance, let alone an uglier young girl. Her lips are pouting, no eyes and she is just plain ugly and her acting skills are beyond bad. The rest of the cast is just so-so. The dad is probably the best actor here. Episode 11, enters the delivery guy, drooling beautiful, but he disappears in the series. There is no chemistry whatsoever between any of the characters. The main female lead, the doctor, has fringes that looks like oily spider legs hanging over her forehead. Not worth watching, 50 hours of your life? You can def find something better.

One of the best historicals I have ever watched.

This is the reason I watch Korean dramas. The story is good. Every single actor/actress, including the children, are some of the best casting actors I've seen in a long time. The story does not drag, it's funny at times and you know exactly who you are cheering for. Costumes, filming, lights, everything is just perfect. Now, this is worth watching. Sincerely hope there is another season.

The first 40 episodes were fun to watch. But then it got too long. Nothing much happened. I started fast-forwarding the entire last four episodes because it was plain boring. You already knew what was going to happen. The youngest daughter isn't much of an actress, too one-face expression. The grandma never looked into the eyes of someone she was talking to. The rest of the cast was okay. Nothing brilliant anywhere. If you have nothing else to watch, this will kill time, but don't expect an extraordinary drama.
