This is a poorly structured, incocherent and banal book full of repeated statements completely devoid of substance, which, to make the matters worse, the author often contradicts in the very next paragraph, denying the reader even the slightest amount of actuall knowledge and opinion. Furthermore, the author uses each chapter as a sandbox to let his thoughts run rampant and, on more than one occasion, completely loses sight of what the chapter was supposed to be about, often ending with the same vague conclusions he has already stated dozens of times before. Most examples leave you wondering what the intended message was, and the author spends an incredible amount of time complaining about the most banal of things, but wastes no opportunity to remind you of his other works, often coming across as smug and arrogant. Avoid this book as by reading it you will learn very little about design, or, as a matter of fact, anything else.
