I don't get the hype. The characters are unlikable and there are major logic gaps (the bad guys have a photo album showing them not aging through the years, the bad guys' children finally start showing some rebellion even though they've been alive since the beginning of time, etc.) I thought it was interesting at first but can't bring myself to finish the series (am in the middle of Season 2). I gave it a lot of tries because of how highly recommended it is.
