It gets slow at the beginning, however as the story progresses it grabs you. As mentioned it is “slow” at times, but that’s just maybe a postmodern way of “telling the story”-thru lots of flashbacks, which at times could have been shorter. Most questions are “answered,” though plenty opportunities to spin them differently, if there were a second season. I have really enjoyed it. The only question, which makes little sense or none , (SPOILER ALERT): why is Paweł taking blame and consequences for the embezzlement and how it fits in the overall story. We know he hasn’t done it; has he possibly euthanized (out of mercy, love, and dignity ) his wife, in what way taking blame for the stolen money out of the foundation helps him ????!!! This part has confused me...and I don’t have an even one inkling of a reason for it. In what way would his action help him with the blackmail. Otherwise great show. Hope for Season 2. (Watched in original - Polish; I don’t know how well the translation has been done).
