A solid debut effort, one that offers a fresh and unique take to the horror / ghost genre. I was initially impressed with the protagonist having seen him in the acclaimed Gangs of London and I have been left with no doubt of his acting chops and diversity. The film offers an interesting concept with twists and scares but somewhat drys out from the hour mark. It could be better but it wasn’t awful.

With so much garbage flooding the market, and Netflix allowing so many below par c rate horror movies on to the platform, I was pleasantly surprised with this little indie flick. The chemistry between Mother & Daughter was strong. The back story to the film I found to be very emotional and the film highlights perfectly the ugliness of a soul once it succumbs to an addiction. I cared for both characters and this made for an enjoyable horror experience. The tension was solid along with the atmosphere. I give this film a 3/5.
