The game has the potential to be fantastic, but it's let down by its dodgy sales practices and poor support. I bought this game on release on the PS4 and there are still game-breaking bugs and glitches that have been there since I first played the game. The game is constantly patched and updated, only to add new bugs to the game. A lot of these issues may well have been fixed by modders in the PC version of the game, but I didn't give the PC version that much of a chance due to the poor quality of the port. FUT is probably alright though, it being the only part of FIFA that EA cares about.
