Daniel Eslick

It is majestic and true to the beast of a novel, but it is half a film and the ending felt like I wanted more of a gripping conclusion. Also at times it felt rushed, I wouldn't mind it being 3 hours and letting the characters breathe a little more. I felt that due to my knowledge of the novel I could fill in the gaps, but would worry about a mass audience truly understanding the complexities of the world. Still, an adaptation mostly deemed impossible becomes a reality with stunning visuals and sound.
