Like the pie maker, Bryan Fuller has a magic touch. One that often seems a blessing and a curse. He brings stories to life with beauty, charm, and whimsy. But unfortunately it seems that those lives are quickly snuffed out by the network execs. assumedly after they see the bill, as the ratings and critics generally rave.
Pushing Daises to me is his pièce de résistance. He created a wonderful world full of 60's pop art colors, visual masterpieces, and characters who feel like friends.
It is with great sadness that I admit it has likely been too long for a proper resurrection. But that doesn't mean the show has to stay buried. It will likely live on like short lived but loved shows before it, on a loop in it's adoring fans hearts.
