I big fan of park seo joon. I really liked this drama. The build up of suspense is too good. The acting and the characters are perfect. The only thing is that this seems a bit dragged. This show could be easily completed in 12 episodes in which you can expect fun comedy suspense and all the cheesiness in the world. The last 4 are just exaggerated to the point I was bored and couldn't wait it to be over.

First of all.. most reviews are just giving it 5 stars. To be honest it doesn't deserve that much. Its a drama with a great concept but poor execution due to very confusing story line. That doesn't mean you should not watch it. The best part of this drama is it's actors. The main as well supporting characters mark their own strong presence by acting wonderfully. The chemistry between the leads Kim go eun and Lee min ho is something that will keep you going from one episode to another. Another amazing thing is the lead characters stay true to themselves till the end of the series which I personally liked. Also it's a very fresh concept storywise. So go ahead.

By far my favourite series. Genre of this series cannot be confined to just romance.. it's a drama..it's fantasy.. it's comedy... emotional.. In nutshell it is a full roller coaster ride. You ll laugh and you ll cry.. NO SPOILERS !!! This drama is great because of the wonderful acting of amazing actors.. Kim go eun as ji eun tak will make you fall in love with her innocence and positivity amid all the past misfortunes.. she has such a twinkle in her eyes that you won't be able to resist her during and after this series. This series made her my favourite actress.. Gong Yoo .. as goblin Kim shin. Is a veteran actor.. and honestly I watched him for the first time on screen. I din't like him in the beginning of the first episode. But I just fell in love with him as the series continued. Because of his work in this series .. I saw other series that he has worked in and his work is as wonderful as ever. Also he is the kind of bf/husband anybody would want.. Also other actors like Yoo In na as sunny and Lee dong wook as grim reaper have their own wonderful screen presence and amazing heartbreaking backstory.. yook sungjae as doek hwa is absolutely amazing and so is Lee Il. This series to some extent brings out the Korean culture and portrays their beliefs in a wonderful way.. Apart from that. It has wonderful music and some wonderful dialogues.. poems.. that will make you cry.. yes they are so beautiful... It's a bitter sweet romance.. that makes you believe in love if you have suffered heartbreak.. at the same time it's breaks your heart.. Its definitely one of the highest rated kdramas of all times.. if you watch it, you won't regret it...Also this is my first time giving five stars to a series.. that's how much I love it ..😌

This is the first kdrama I watched and tbh I watched it because It was somehow downloaded in my laptop. I guess I got it from a friend while exchanging pen drives for getting pics. It had been there in my laptop for years bt I had never watched it and once I did I just couldn't stop. I remember the beginning episode I watched them in a day and I couldn't sleep till 3 in the morning coz I wanted to see more. NO SPOILERS !! Coming to the point. The show is a Romance which is portrayed between doctors and soldiers.. two different worlds colliding. The storyline was something that was different from usual and caught my attention. In kdramas normally there are two romantic couples involved.. one is the main and other is secondary. The main couple has more focus obviously. Bt the fact that the storyline of the second couple was so amazing as well that I liked both couples equally.. the lead couple song joonki and song hye kyo are so wonderful I had a crush on both of them. And their relationship is just amazing.. love is hard and it's portrayed well. Same goes for the second couple..Kim Ji won is amazing and so is Jin goo.. there is also fun bromance that you will witness. The compelling story, a lot of fun and seriousness of the series will compel you to complete the show. Overall for me the story is simple yet captivating..the acting is wonderful.. you ll love things about each character. It has great rom com moments that you don't wana miss. If you are planning to watch.. just go ahead. You ll surely like it.
