VIKRAM - review
Positives:-
• Huge Star cast
• This movie is another proof that mass scenes can be made not only with the hero, but the story can make even small characters as mass characaters
• Anirudh's songs and Background Music, his career best work, a different dimension of Ani and the best one
• Loki's writing, engages the audience from start to end, especially the way Kaidhi's characters are brought into Vikram is brilliant
• Surya's role is small, but impactful, Vjs just killed it with his mannerisms and dialogue delivery, FaFa has the majority of scenes in the movie and he proved he's one of the best actors of Indian cinema, or probably in the world and finally Kamal, the name 'Ulaga Naayagan' says it all, he has once again proved it
• Though the movie duration is big, it doesn't feel so, kudos to the editor
• At last, the 2 pillars of the movie - Cameraman Girish and Stunt choreographers Anbariv, international quality
• Interval scene and those guns used at the last was breathtaking
Caution:-
• This is not a movie for those who hate blood. This movie has heavy violence, so be ready
• Don't expect it to be a Kamal film, he comes only in 40% of the movie and has few dialogues only. The major weightage is carried by Vjs and FaFa.
Area of Improvement was Graphics. It wasn't bad, but could've been better at parts. But it won't bother you because of the screenplay that'll hook your concentration towards the story and not on graphics.
There are a few logic mistakes but it's acceptable in the commercial aspect.
Overall :-
This was the best movie I've ever seen. There are many surprises left in the film. Welcome to LCU - Lokesh Cinematic Universe.
Must watch in theatres. Don't miss it. Enjoy!
