Gripping! I think the huge draw for me is the reality of emotions. From a mother’s point of view I can feel every emotion and the young man who portrays Jacob is fabulous! Such a teenager but with a darkness underneath. I read reviews that complained about the pacing but I disagree. The tension builds, it takes a turn, you form an opinion and then doubt it. I love crime dramas but this is much more, it’s family drama, it’s finding out who really supports you, it’s a story of secrets and shame. After three episodes I’m sucked in!
