As an asian, I am disappointed that Disney allowed an American to direct such a beloved tale. It seems that $200 million was wasted on costume design and scenery while they peppered it with cheesy dialogue and cheap fight scenes. Female empowerment in Hollywood destroyed this live action movie. Are you telling me that Disney cannot find asian screenwriters and directors who definitely can do a better job!
