***NO SPOILERS*** I don't think anyone who played and enjoyed part 1 will like this, the story of this game just doesn't make any sense, it is filled with unnecessary stuff and feels like a random and cheap soap opera made after a copy/paste of various movies and TV shows like: The walking dead, Broke Back Mountain, Terminator Dark Fate, Saving Private Ryan and others. The game looks beautiful and the animation is top notch, but the game play is too easy an offers no challenge at all, I feel no satisfaction after beating this game. If you're on the fence about buying it, I'll suggest you wait for it to go on sale which will be pretty soon because it is not worth $60 bucks.
