So much unwarranted criticism. There is very little that could have been done better. Loved all the characters and didn’t see any bad acting some reviews are whining about. Reva was remarkable. Maybe those reviewers don’t like the diversity of actors. Btw Leah was not ten. She said that tongue in cheek like a child who wants to appear older. She was 6-7 at the most. Also, that’s her forest where she played every day, so it’s not so hard to imagine she could dodge the adults for a few, albeit those few scenes could have been better directed. Regarding Reva and Grand Inquisitors miraculous recoveries, the dark side of the force has the ability that channel hatred into wound healing. Yes maybe that needed to be explained for those unfamiliar with SW lore. It would seem however that viewers leaving one star reviews simply lack imagination to enjoy Star Wars to begin with. The only complaint I have is that it was only six episodes.

I enjoyed the game and the story buildup. It's a great introduction into what will likely become another awesome trilogy. Some elements of the game could have used more polish such as weapon building UI, character interactions where some will face the other way or be talking from a distance, not enough checkpoints during lengthy missions, and having to make significant decisions (what to do with ancient AI) without sufficient information that left me feeling rushed. Also, sometimes consequences of missions were not felt like destroying Kett's shuttle control on Voeld which was supposed to stop their reinforcements but there was no noticeable difference before and after. The game however overcomes minor issues and reveals imaginative universe and interesting races. You begin in very challenging circumstances where serious setbacks almost wiped out the entire operation and left the Initiative on the edge of disaster. Every mission feels as a stepping stone in establishing humanity in the unknown and unhospitable environment. There is a sense of mystery and exploration as well as peril as the story takes you into the future and the past. The game kept me thinking about it between sessions and I was compelled to continue as soon as time allowed. Environments are beautiful with unique planets each with its own challenges. Being able to reconfigure the character at any point in the game made it possible to change things up mid game and go from soldier to infiltrator to biotic and try different playstyles. Graphics are great even five years after the release. Driving around in upgraded Nomad was fun in itself. Immersion is good with the map being the main and frequent interruption that could have been improved by having on screen navigation in the corner. It's very easy to get disoriented and be heading in the wrong direction so waypoints are a must. I would recommend playing on hard difficulty. I'm looking forward to seeing where the story goes.

There is nothing in this movie for true fans of the original. It's nothing like it and has nothing to offer. It's sad it was made at all and it will surely be quickly forgotten. It's also sad that this last chance to have the original cast before they are too old was so thoroughly wasted. How can someone who participated in making such a brilliant movie in 1999 be satisfied with releasing this mess is something I can't wrap my mind around. There is a glitch in the Matrix and it's a Watchovski.
