This is the original Max Steel series for me and the first cartoon I ever watched. Its portrayal of Max/Josh McGrath and the storyline is probably the best out of the 3 (reboot series, movie are worse imo). Max is a super badass hero and the animation, although dated, still is impressive for its time. Highly recommended for kids under 16, hell, I'm still rewatching it as an adult!

Slower first half. Excellent 2nd half. All around great movie, great direction.

Joel was spat on figuratively and literally.

Terrible plot, decent characters, beautiful animation. I cannot stress how bad the plot of this movie really is. The lead character is the definition of a simp, which isn't a bad thing necessarily but in this movie... It's just a bad excuse for forcing romance between two opposite people.
