I was happy to see Bridgit Mendler return to acting but sadly I can't give Father of the Year a great review. Although most of the acting was fine, many of the jokes felt forced along with ok delivery from most of the cast. It is a fine movie if you're looking for a late-night comedy with cheap humor. Father of the Year is yet another just ok Netflix comedy that will clutter the platforms already over-saturated comedy catalog.
