Hwang Dong-hyuk Has won multiple awards including the blue dragon and the Baek Sang Art Award. His movie the fortress is very popular. I am reviewing his new show the “Squid Game” s1:e1 is currently disappointing. This director is usually very enticing and entertaining from beginning to end however the show in my personal opinion is lacking, the main character; A gambling addict father who It was a lot of money to loan sharks as well as the bank just trying to impress his daughter for her birthday. His mother gives him money to take her out and he waste it gambling and then steals her bank card to get more money which she then loses, i’m assuming the plot is to make the father look pathetic which he does however so author should have painted him in a different light making him look less ignorant. Ideally this character will be a turnaround character we will progress as the show continues but as of right now I am not interested in finishing this episode. For the simple fact that the main character is definition explained stupid. Will update at the end of the season with my findings.

This was a great movie so much time was placed in laying down the frame work for a thrilling at the edge of your seat movie. And it ended in a what seems like a thrown together repulsive way! The whole movie built up like a stack of cards each twist with more and more conflicting results to then end it the way it did looks rushed, undeveloped and honestly made the entire movie seem better with out the last 20 min.
