The film is phenomenal. Absolutely incredible. Excellent acting. Excellent directing. Brilliant editing. And brilliant cinematography. Shooing any action film is ridiculously daunting and extremely complex. Critics of this film who have denounced it, should be ashamed. To set out on an endeavor to capture any biographical period of the great Bruce Lee's life, is a remarkable challenge. Because every single physical move the man executed was FLAWLESS. That's why so few bio epics of him have been made. Most filmmakers shy away from such a challenge. The writers, director, editor, and cinematographer of Birth Of The Dragon, all performed BRILLIANTLY. And the two actors portraying Lee and Man, were indescribably stunning. Forget about the acting for a moment (which in itself was magnificent - I mean who else has ever captured Bruce Lee's mannerisms, unique trademark speech and accent, etc.?), the physical executions were absolutely spellbinding. I IMPLORE you to watch the actual warehouse fight scene TEN TIMES IN A ROW AND IN SLOW MOTION AND FIND ONE SINGLE FLAW IN THEIR PHYSICAL MOVEMENTS! To all the critics out there who gave this film anything short of FIVE FRICKING STARS: YOU try to make this film about this legendary fight that changed Kung Fu forever!! Just TRY IT! And see what YOU come up with! My sincerest gratitude to ALL who participated in the creation of the wondrous film and for inspiring the world and continuing Lee's legacy! Lee's family should be GRATEFUL to the actors, writers, editor, photographer, and director of this TIMELESS MASTERPIECE! FIVE STARS!
