One of the best movies I have ever seen all the way around. I started out in the first , say, 10 minutes, thinking I was not gonna like it because it may be too political…. Well, I VERY QUICKLY changed my mind and was totally engrossed for the rest of the entire movie. Wow !!!! The acting, the music, the way it was filmed !!!! EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!! And, Sean Penn, PERFECT casting. And performance!!

Disquieting….Very , Very , Very Thought provoking..Great actors … put your thinking caps on and open your minds… oh, yes.. and pardon the gore off and on. Pretty darn good movie.

With all The horrible reviews, I expected to hate this movie ….. Although I completely LOVE Joaquin Phoenix ….. well….. I disagree with all the bad reviews……. I mean.. was this movie “ Different “?? Was it tragic and Dark? Absolutely. But… for me… Joaquin Phoenix’s Unbelievable talent and Lady Gaga’s voice and talent… I loved this movie. I FELT the emotions. I appreciated the representation of the craziness we all Hold Inside. Wow. Yep. I almost gave it a 5….. Thanks for being so amazing Joaquin 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏And the songs were completely appropriate for the feelings in those segments… sometimes mere Words cannot express stuff. Ok. I’ll Stop.

In the hour and 45 or so I watched this movie… I alternated between LOVING IT….Hating it…feeling an affinity with the characters… putting my hands actually OVER my eyes so as not to see what was going to be gut wrenching…. Rinse and repeat several times. I left the theater feeling like I had left my “little” life For a little while …. Wow. Was it fantastic?…… NO… Can I see where someone would NOT enjoy it… YES… BUT…. Right up until the VERY END ( seriously the Very End)…. It was surprising. All that being said….. 👍👍

Now, I can see where you might not appreciate this movie for what it is…. You gotta love Joaquin for his absolutely incredible talent… you might not care about how people .. even years ago.. had the SAME issues WE have today …. You might not be able to handle the violent parts……For me…. And I admit it was a little long and at times, perhaps, a little slow ( although THAT was appropriate given the theme at that time) I LOVED This Movie. WOW. What cinematography!!!!!!!! Yep…… Great movie. Great job, Joaquin Phoenix. Perfect casting !!!!

One of most inventive, smartest movies I’ve ever seen… Not perfect.. and most certainly not for everyone……..If you go see it, just know that it is very different…. And VERY thought provoking…….
