So….. I didn’t know this was a book. That being said, I hope the movie did justice to the original story. I really enjoyed it. The cast, the acting, the graphics, sound, the set & costume design were all impressive. I’m not sure what it was supposed to look like but I was definitely transported into their world. Everything was convincing and not overdone. You must watch it in Dolby. It makes a huge difference in the experience. It felt like a grand undertaking and it was epic. Clearly there’s a part two and I would definitely watch it.
