I can't say that I'm shocked that there is still traditional master/slave plantations thriving in America's southern states. It is heartbreaking and depressing that black families are still being separated and sold, whipped, raped and worked with out wages under the threat of death by modern day plantation owners.
I'm also not surprised that the American government has turned a blind eye to this grotesque travesty of justice. How long will America continue to ignore the fact of the white man's inhumanity to people of color.
Our International policy of fighting oppression and brutality around the world is a joke. America policy is clearly "do as I say and not as I do"!
