Soorarai Pottru- with cinematic allowances taken into account- is a very satisfying experience. Suriya is superb & simply nailed it. Aparna stands her ground against Suriya in a brilliant performance & the chemistry between them is great. The intensity of the lead character comes across. Brilliantly photographed & edited. The colourist has done a great job. Songs are great.BGM is adequate but could have been better.The right amount of grit, subtle humour, heart-tugging sentiments & a positive end makes it a good movie. Suriya shoulders & carries the movie with aplomb but the credit for overall success surely belongs to the surefooted & brilliant direction of Sudha Kongura. Take a bow!
