It's pretty to look at, but the plot and characterizations are so predictable, and calculatedly sentimental that it's as though this was the love-child of Jules Verne and the Hallmark Channel told in a Classic Comics Guide to History. Not much suspense or question as to what will happen to the characters when their motivations are so obvious.
