I don’t see Norma connecting to Aries which didn’t lead the audience to root for Aries. Macha is a scene stealer to the point where she overshadows Aries’ opportunity to get noticed. The foundation between the brothers was weak also thats why when they fought about their integrity issues it didn’t affect as much. The part where they got into an accident- althroughout the movie I was waiting for somebody to get involved into tragedy. I like the tone of the movie, though. Good color grading, OST, set design. Sue was great! The actors were doing well. I think the producers were attempting to treat this with a timeless feel (casting a 50s-pin-up-styled actress, use of Polaroids and tape recorder; relocating to the reception-less mountains to contrast with the non-techie life). I think this movie doesn’t need a sequel.
