Just watched this for the first time during “Quarantine and Chill 2020,” and WOW! The movie captures the feelings of youth during a time of freedom, where one had the entire world ahead of them (and created experiences before the influence of social media)!! I was in grade school in 1973; I remember the climate of the time. I am left wanting to watch it again, to feel that nostalgia once more!! Everyone can identify with some part of adolescence or young adulthood in this movie~the love of the music, the first time one falls in love, and the sheer excitement and ride that defines life itself!
