For those of us that actually were around L.A. at the time of Motley Crues beginning a d were old enough to partake in the antics of L.A./ Hollywood scene of the 80's, yes it brings back MASSIVE wonderful memories of the Whiskey, the Troubadour and others. As far as as the reviews saying women are being depicted poorly in "The Dirt", I got news for you. In the 80' a, the women were giving as good as they were getting. Most of the folks writing comments like that were wearing diapers when we were experiencing it. The movie didnt dive deep enough for me but was still amazing and fun. Yes, there were discrepancies but what movies doesnt. Enjoy the damn thing for what it is. Those of us who remember will REALLY enjoy going down memory lane. Those who weren't, just enjoy the movie, have someone explain the 80's
