What works great for this movie is its attention to detail, strong characters, art direction, background score and the non-linear story telling that keeps us engaged. A good Vada Chennai gangster film from Vetrimaran and co. Every actor delivers in this movie, even the ones with smallest of screen space. That being said, I leave it to the readers to imagine how performers like Dhanush, Samudhrakani, Andrea, Kishore et. all would've done with Vetrimaran wielding the microphone. However, I, for one, felt that the pace dwindled a little during the second half of the movie. The movie would invariably be compared to another gangster flick of Dhanush - Pudhupettai, however, that shouldn't deter one from watching this on the big screen.
