Tifanie Ledesma

The acting was stale and I didn’t feel chemistry between Selena and Chris’s characters. The lead failed to capture Selena’s essence and lacked in the mimicking of her mannerisms and presence on stage. I was born and raised in Texas and grew up on tejano. No other female came close to Selena. She had her own brand and style. She was a woman who looked like me and the people that I grew up around. She had this quality about her. She was tremendously talented and unique. She was also corky and seemed very grounded and friendly. She had a PROFOUND impact on me and I am sure to many others. I know it’s only my opinion and it’s doesn’t really amount to much, but that’s how I feel. Just was hoping for a little bit more.
