THE CHOSEN is fresh and innovative approach to the story of Jesus Christ. While the series' characterization of Jesus remains consistent with the four Gospels (miracles and all), the series also focuses upon some of those who were strongly .impacted by a personal encounter with Him: Mary Magdalen, Simon Peter, Andrew, and Nicodemus. These characters are developed in a depth that enables us to understand that the choice each made to follow or reject Jesus was based upon life experiences. From beginning to end, season one of The Chosen is a masterpiece.
