If you were born after 1993 you probably don't remember the movie "point of no return" Anna is a not very good attempt to remake that. It was Interesting but not a memorable effort. Just made me watch point of no return again. Would have rather seen a Salt 2 or Atomic Blonde 2. I will give it credit for the creative flash backs.

Let's be honest. Did anyone really expect this to be on the level of Kevin Coster's or Russell Crowe 's version. Both being great btw. This was exactly what it was supposed to be. A chopped and screwed version mixed with modern style action sequences. A while back Hollywood tried doing minder spins of classics. Romeo and Juliet. Leanardo D was in that one. Othello which they simply called O. My man mikhi phifer was in that. My point is it didn't work then so I'm not surprised it's not hitting now Basically it's ok for what it is. An Over the top, Funny haha, entertaining, weak scripted, interpretation of a classic.

Weak movie overall. The progression from housewife to a Eveline Salt kill Bill type completely unbelievable. Cage fighting alone doesn't explain her skill set. Plus very predictable writing. elements from other movies was mashed together. Was interesting to watch but I would have been annoyed paying for a ticket at the theater.
