There are such flaws with this series which I'm going to elaborate on:
1) First of all, there are so many unknown characters in the screenplay, which makes audiences confused. For example: Who is the Adar? What is his role in this series? What is his conflict with Sauron? Who is the person who falls from the sky? Who are those people who seek him? Why are they seeking him? Are they vallar? I don't recognize them as evil characters or good ones yet. What is the role of Theo? I didn't get the importance of his existence in the series.
2) The rhythm of the series is slow. We are at the end of the series, yet we are still faced with many unknown questions. What is the purpose of being the sky man? What did he do throughout the series except protect the Harfoots against the wolf attack and fix the trees?
3) The relations between some characters are doubtful and even wrong. For instance: Galadriel is one of the highest elves. She is a royal Elf of both the Noldor and the Teleri, being a grandchild of both King Finwë and King Olwë. She's Elrond's mother-in-law. The intimacy between those two is unnatural. In Talkin's World, he can't call her his friend. The character of Ar-Pharazon is full of ambiguity. One time he agrees with Míriel to send ships to Middle-earth, and another time, he suggests she wait. The darkness of his soul and his ambition are not well shown in the series.
3) Some parts of the series are hard to catch. For example, why did Galadriel suddenly jump from the ship to the open sea? Why would she do such a stupid thing? Her vows to hunt the Sauroun down and the memory of her brother are not quite enough to explain the stupidity of such a move. Not to mention. I didn't amaze by the play of the Galadrel's actress. She failed to fill the shoes of Cate Blanchett. All she did was stare at the camera to convey her feeling. What else did she do?
4) One of the marvelous things about this series is Halbrand's character. I can see the signs of becoming Sauron in his soul. But remember: I can follow these signs, duo to my pieces of knowledge of Talkin's world. What about others? Those who don't know about Sauron's past have difficulties following up on the series. If the series producer targeted a wide range of audiences for The Rings of Power, they must narrate all aspects of Talkin's world. The beginning of "The Fellowship of The Ring" movie is the exact example of what I said.
5) Don't let us down! PLEASE.
