I enjoyed this movie for its literary value; the quotes were wonderful. The plot tended to drag a bit and I was often lost in the Scottish dialect, which was many times inaudible. The depressing, heavy weight of sorrow was the overwhelming theme. I loved the rural and pastoral scenes!
