This movie is told through the music. The "star", who's life is being run and decided by her producer, is beyond exhausted. She finds love and thinks she wants to be a Mom and a wife, but would have to give up the attention and the fame, something she needs more than the love of her man. This movie ends very sadly and many believe it was based on Janis Joplin. Bette was Oscar nominated and she more than deserved it. Fabulous voice!!!
