Dark, sad, and depressing, but that's what makes this movie great. Joaquin Phoenix's performance as The Joker was riveting. He truly knows how to flesh out the character from a script to the real world. This is a must see not just for comic book fans but for anyone wanting to see an Oscar award winning performance.
