Overall, I do enjoy this show because I'm a sucker for medical shows. However, I also work in the mental health field and have worked with many individuals, of all ages, who are diagnosed as being on the Autism Spectrum. This show, for the most part, does a good job at portraying what someone diagnosed with ASD behaves like, BUT, the inflection that Dr. Murphy uses when he talks is something I have NEVER seen or heard of. It's a small detail, and I know that, but as a clinician, it's definitely a pet peeve of the show. I am also happy to see that the plot is starting to move because for a while it felt pretty stagnant.
