In modern society Antigone teaches us that we are not as advanced as we think. Religious faith, freedom of speech and gender equality are still persistent to date and a big problem in our society. Another lesson from Antigone is that when we start identifying ourselves as us versus them we narrow down justice and start harming others in the process of helping ourselves.
