Well, that was a waste of time. I wish I had those powers in the film to stop time and not watch this rubbish Great idea for a movie, but executed poorly. Not even the great actors could save this sinking ship of a movie.... AVOID

This is one of the best depictions of 18th century navel warfare. Search history hit on youtube. Dan Snow runs through how accurate the film is from the dialogue to the effects and visuals. Well directed and filmed. The movie is a master piece of modern film and its a real shame a 2nd film was never made. Side note: the ship HMS Surprise still exists and is in Canada as a floating museum. So a chance in the future to make another film is still possible. Maybe in 30y when Hollywood runs out of ideas. Must watch, great entertainment and movie.

Very slow to get going. Not as good as the first 2. To be honest, you could do without watching it. Boring and drawn out. Main action really starts like 60min in. Ending is not as good as the set up would make you believe.
