What a waste. I almost never write reviews, but this one definitely deserved one. It’s almost as if the directors took any good potential this show had and shoved it down the garbage disposal. The character development and motivation doesn’t seem to progress naturally, instead just existing for the sake of the plot. Some of the Locke’s decisions, especially Kinsey’s, made this so frustrating to watch. And Kinsey’s proposition to Greg and Scot? What?!? Don’t get me wrong I love the representation of the LGBTQ+ community that many movies are trying to incorporate into their stories, but in Lock & Key, it felt like they were just shoving it in for brownie points. Literally had no plot relevance and did make any sort of impact. Don’t waste you time with this one. There are plenty of better options
