This is one of the best stories in any video game, and one of the most memorable stories I've experienced. If I were judging it based on its story alone, easily a 5 star rating. However, the gameplay is unfourtunately slightly repetitive, and the gunplay gets very uninteresting after a while. The game is very immersive and fun to play, and the open world is incredible, it's just the missions' dependance on linearity that clashes endlessly with the game's non-linear open world. This is a criticism that can applied to most of Rockstar's open world sandbox-type games. Despite this, the overall experience is fantastic and the story and characters are very memorable and will stick with you months after you're done playing.
