The way that this film tried to make up for the continuous fetishization and sexualisation of actual children in this film by having the main protagonist go outside to skip rope at the end of the film is honestly hilarious an amazing comedic twist, wouldn't expect better from a film that also included a grotesque depiction of an?? exorcism?? baptism?? cleanse?? of sorts that had that main girl spazz in twerks as though twerking is a mental illness. I'm genuinely repulsed, a coming of age film of 11 year old girls for an audience of adults, I watched this film hoping the backlash was unwarranted for and was exaggerated, nope, this film is just as disturbing to watch as you'd expect. I can't believe everyone involved in the making of this film was alright with it bc it says its acc against sexualisation of children!! She gives it up in the last 3 minutes at the end!!!
